Creamy Basil Sauce


The ancient Egyptians and ancient Greeks believed basil would open the gates of heaven for a person passing on. We unequivically denounce such thinking.
However, if one were to take basil and make a cream sauce with it… you would in fact have something, dare we say it, heavenly.



In sauce pan add sauce pack to 1 1/2 cups half & half, whisk until mixed evenly. Bring to gentle boil and stir 2 1/2 – 3 minutes (until desired thickness). Spoon or pour over Pasta Mama’s pasta. Excellent base for soups!

Flour, Vegetable Broth (maltodextrin, salt, yeast extract, natural flavor, dehydrated – onion, celery, parsley, spinach, carrot, garlic, potato flour, xanthan gum, spices, extractives of turmeric), Basil, Parsley, Parmesan Cheese (pasteurized milk, cheese, cultyre, enzymes, disodium phosphate, lactic acid) less than 2% silicon dioxide and sunflower oil added to prevent caking. Garlic Powder. Contains Milk and  Wheat.
